LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- A gas leak in Leesburg on Wednesday morning was taken care of just before noon.
Fire crews responded to 510 Principal Drummond Way for a leak from a two-inch gas line at approximately 7:45 a.m. Loudoun County fire officials say the main was damaged.
Bellwood Commons Shopping Center was evacuated as a precaution.
Washington Gas secured the leak and fire crews cleared the scene just before noon.
Washington Gas was working with the business owners to get everything opened up.
