UPDATE: Shanee Cox has been located and has been reunited with her family as of late Friday night, according to Montgomery County Police.
WHEATON, Md. (WUSA) -- Police in Montgomery County have found an infant, but her 14-year-old mother is still missing.
Missing six-month-old Nevaeh Cox has been located and has been reunited with family members, police said. However, Detectives from the Montgomery County Police-Family Crimes Division continue to look for the infant's missing mother Shanee Cox.
"Shanee Cox was last seen on February 2, 2012 in the 2200 block of Georgian Way in Wheaton. Shanee Cox is described as an African American female, 5' 2" tall, and weighing 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair that is kept in a pony tail. She was last seen wearing a blue coat, a pink shirt, ripped blue jeans over black leggings, and brown boots. Shanee Cox may be in the Wheaton / Glenmont area. Shanee Cox may be in need of medical attention," police said.
