Seat Pleasant, Md. Crash Kills One, Injures Two

SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (WUSA) -- One person is dead and two more hurt after a crash in Seat Pleasant late Thursday night.  The crash may have been related to some kind of gunfire in the area.

Prince George's County Police received a report of shots fired just before midnight Thursday.  When officers responded, they found a car crashed into a utility pole on James Farmer Way at Addison Road.

Police tell 9NEWS NOW there were four people in the car.  One was killed in the crash.  Two others were hurt.  The identities of the people involved have not been released.

Prince George's County Police have not said whether people in the crashed car were shooting at someone or whether they were fleeing from gunshots.  Right now, police have not made any arrests in their investigation.
