WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A DC police spokesperson says two people were fighting at 19th Place NE in D.C. on Monday at approximately 1:39 p.m. when one of them was shot.
According to the spokesperson, a caller told police that one of the people involved in the fight pulled out a gun and shot the other person in the back.

The shooting victim was conscious and breathing when transported from the scene.
Police are looking for a black male about 20 years old, who was last seen wearing a black jacket and a white shirt. They say he is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds and was last seen running toward the Pinnacle Apartments.
