WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- TheHill.com is reporting that Barack Obama will be in attendance Monday night at the Verizon Center as Team USA Basketball takes on Brazil.
The report states that the president is scheduled to arrive at approximately 7:10 p.m., which falls during the latter portion of the women's game. The men will tip-off at 8 p.m.
The last basketball game Obama attended was in the spring, during March Madness. He and British Prime Minister David Cameron chatted and relaxed in Dayton, Ohio, during the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
Of course, last week Obama admitted he's jumped on the Nationals baseball bandwagon.
Expect beefed up security if you are attending the game tonight.
