FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA) -- Firefighters responded to a house fire early Monday morning that resulted in a total loss.
About 30 firefighters from Frederick and Washington counties were dispatched to the 12400 block of Spruce Run Rd., Myersville, Md. and found a vacant home engulfed in flames.
The fire was brought under control in approximately 30 minutes and resulted in an estimated total loss of $80,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Frederick County Fire Investigation Task Force. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact Cpl. Jason West at 301-600-3894.
