Part Of 1-95/395 HOV Lanes To Close Starting Monday

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -- Portions of the I-95/395 HOV lanes will be closed starting on Monday, April 23 through Thursday, April 26 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. They will be closed again on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28, from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m.

The I-95/395 HOV lanes will be closed at 8 p.m. from D.C. south to Exit 152, Dumfries Road (Route 234.) 

VDOT says during night work hours the HOV lanes will be re-opened from the I-95 north HOV slip ramp in the vicinity of Exit 169, Franconia-Springfield, to D.C. by 11 p.m. 

Springfield area drivers can access the HOV Lanes north from the Franconia-Springfield Parkway, says VDOT.

On Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29,  the HOV lanes will reopen by 10 a.m. heading north towards Washington, D.C.
