Huguely Verdict Strikes Up Strong Reaction
POTOMAC, Md. (WUSA)-- Those who live near George Huguely, Sr. home in Potomac are reacting to their neighbor's son now being a convicted killer.
Mark Cokinos who lives down the street said the 24-year olds father has been devastated throughout the entire ordeal.
Cokinos said, "We're very saddened that this family has gone through this traumatic incident."
Cokinos wife Rachel echoed the sentiment saying, "I hope that both families can find peace in their hearts"
People in Cockeysville where Yeardley Love was from also had plenty to say about the guilty verdict.
Wylie Leabo, a college student said, "" I think it's deserved, I think the evidence is obvious, and im surprised it took a year and half to get there."
Huguely grew up in Chevy Chase but would spend time with his father in his Potomac home. The now convicted killer was a lacrosse stand out at the Landon School in Bethesda where he graduated from.
