WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Get ready for a cheaper Nook tablet. Barnes and Noble has rolled out a new version of its tablet.
The 8-gigabyte version is expected to match or undercut Amazon's $199 Kindle Fire.
The Nook Color has also been reduced in price to $169. There's an entry level version at $99.
Barnes and Noble's current 16 gigabyte Nook costs around $250.
