LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- Loudoun County Fire Deputy Chief Randall Shank says four patients were transported after an accident on the Dulles Greenway Thursday morning. Virginia State Police confirm that one of the people involved in the accident was a Virginia State Trooper. He has minor injuries.
Shank says one victim in critical condition was flown from the scene via Medevac. Three other victims, including the trooper, were transported by ground with non-life-threatening injuries. Two of the victims have pretty serious injuries.

Sky 9 video showed at least 4 damaged vehicles involved in an accident on the eastbound lanes of the Dulles Greenway at Sycolin Road around 6:45 a.m.
Video also showed evidence of at least one of them catching fire. Another vehicle is overturned on the far right side of the road.
The inbound lanes of the Greenway were closed at Sycolin Road and caused delays, but Alert Loudoun reports that all lanes have now reopened. The right shoulder remains blocked.
