Spring Pet Fest Adoption Event On May 5 In Upper Marlboro

LARGO, Md. (WUSA) - Looking for a new pet? Want to have some family-friendly fun? You're in luck.

The Prince George's County Department of Environmental Resources' Animal Management Division is hosting a freeSpring Pet Fest at 3750 Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro on Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Potential adoptees will be matched with pets and fees for adoption will be reduced. Pet adoption fees for Spring Fest only will be $45 for cats (normally at $150) and $100 for dogs (normally $200).

There will be a pet fashion show and parade and a bake, craft and yard sale. 

All proceeds benefit the Animal Services Facility.
