WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - We're still dealing with a slow-moving area of low pressure moving just to the south of the DC Metro area. Overnight, this system will keep the clouds and muggy weather in place, and some patchy fog will develop again. There could be some areas of low visibility during the Monday morning commute.
On Monday afternoon the weather turns warmer, with highs heading into the 80s. Scattered thunderstorms are likely during the evening commute. During the overnight hours, most of the storm system's energy will move away from the Beltway, leaving us with a hot and humid Tuesday.
